Limited-edition cask-aged dry gin produced by The Kyoto Distillery in Kyoto, Japan. botanicals include juniper, yellow yuzu, akamatsu (Japanese red pine), red shiso leaves, bamboo leaves, ginger, lemon, orris root, gyokuro tea from the Uji region, green sanshō peppercorn, and kinome (peppercorn tree leaves). Aged nearly 1 year in ex-bourbon barrels that previously held Kilchoman Islay Single Malt Scotch. Bitter orange, petrichor, delicate pine, and savory smoke on the nose transition to a palate of salted lemon peel and smoked juniper with bright minerality and a delicate green tea bitterness. 46% ABV. 50ml; half pours available.
