Kanosuke Single Malt

Flagship single malt Japanese whisky produced by Kanosuke Distillery in Kagoshima, Japan. It is 100% malted barley that has been lightly peated. In addition, the distillate is double distilled using a combination of Kanosuke’s three Miyake copper pot stills and then aged an average of 3–5 years in a combination of re-charred Mellowed Kozuru rice shochu American oak casks, sherry casks, and ex-bourbon casks; non-age statement. Delicate aromas of banana, lemon cake, and Japanese confection precede a rich palate of subtle ginger spice, candied quince, and camp smoke with a finish of salty sea air.
