Where do I start? This amazing whisky was first distilled in a new Zemon copper/tin pot still. The whisky savant behind this is Takahiko Inagaki. This golden whisky is hitting Ardbeg levels of peat, around 50ppm. A young, but well-made and complex dram. Finally, super peated Japanese whisky is on par with Arbeg levels of PPM, which is around 50. New-comer Saburomaru is the one to watch.
